This fall marks the biggest change in the history of V which continues to surprise viewers with original and entertaining shows, created and developed by passionate people. “We have restored a coherence, a common thread that is very clear throughout V’s program schedule that offers unifying and impactful content”, explains Brigitte Vincent, Vice President of Content. “With a strong and established 5p-7p programming block, a redesigned primetime offer featuring several new and many locally-produced shows that stand out can be deployed across all our platforms.”

Several new Quebec productions are premiering this fall. Isabelle Racicot will be hosting Je suis chef (Monday at 8 pm) the culinary competition where professional chefs and gifted cooking enthusiasts compete to impress the panel of judges. Quebec’s most inspiring and skilled amateur athletes are the stars of Bootcamp: le parcours extrême (Thursday at 8 pm) hosted by Emily Bégin and Étienne Boulay. In Moment décisif (Wednesday at 7 :30 pm), Kim Rusk and Serge Beauchemin give entrepreneurs 90 seconds to land a contract with established business people. Finally, Jonathan Roberge and Marie-Soleil Dion will perform the experiments you were always warned to never attempt at home on Ne jamais faire à la maison (Wednesday at 8 pm), Vendeurs de rêve (Monday at 7:30 pm) provides a look inside the not so ordinary everyday lives of luxury real estate agents.

Weekdays, in the 5p-7p programming block – a key component of the channel’s programming offer, V presents the popular game show La guerre des clans at 5 :30 pm in a new formula, a new décor, a new host, Jean-François Breau, in a more electrifying ambiance but the same great fun of playing as a family.  The incredibly successful Un souper presque parfait narrated by André Ducharme returns with new episodes at 6 pm and the daily editions of Occupation Double Grèce complete the popular programming block at 6:30 pm (Monday – Thursday).

Hosted by Jay Du Temple, Occupation Double, last fall’s television phenomenon returns to build on its huge multiplatform success and spark the imaginations of viewers with an exciting new adventure in Greece! The Sunday edition, Les Dimanches tellement OD is back in a 90-minute version at 6 :30 pm and it’s followed by OD+ en direct with Nicolas Ouellet and his cohorts. You won’t want to miss the return of this major television event and the inevitable red carpet starting September 30th!

Weeknights at 10 pm, Stéphane Rousseau returns in top shape and sharper than ever as host of the primetime talk-show Le show de Rousseau accompanied by La famille Ouellet and fabulous guests.

L’arbitre is back as well as Huissiers, a new show that was a ratings winner last fall with turbulent stories that expose the reality of life in the bailiff business. Weekends, follow the valuable advice conveyed by automotive experts Pierre Michaud, Luc-Olivier Chamberland and Samuel Lessard on RPM and RPM+ (10 am and 11 am). An automotive reference, RPM will be reaching a milestone this fall with the presentation of its 20th successful season!

On the acquisitions side, V has added several popular new shows with proven audience appeal including Les jeux fous d’Ellen (Ellen’s game of games, Tuesday 8 pm) and The Amazing Race: défis autour du monde (Thursday 7 pm). At 9 pm, the drama series SEAL Team: cœur et courage (Wednesday) and Tous contre le crime (Wisdom of the Crowd, Friday) in addition to the action series Scorpion (Monday), NCIS: Los Angeles (Tuesday) et Chicago Police (Thursday).

Need peaceful and relaxing mornings to start your day? On August 27th, V started airing an innovative new program offering that has never been seen on a mainstream television network in Quebec. Inspired by the remarkable success of Slow TV in Norway, V presents Moment V, a bold morning counter-programming option for viewers in Quebec.

Expect a wide range of emotions this winter with the return of L’amour est dans le pré, Mets-y le Paquet and Tout s’embellit avec Julie. In addition to these highly-anticipated viewer favourites, several new shows will be making their broadcast debuts including Phil s’invite with Phil Roy who will be literally entering the private spaces of his guests and –Maître du chantier hosted by Patrick Groulx who will be crowning the best future general contractor in Quebec. More new shows will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
